His groundbreaking project—targeting PD1/Tim3 to overcome immunogenic resistance to bispecific antibody therapy in multiple myeloma—was selected for its innovation, rigor, and translational promise.

Her novel research focuses on GLP-1 regulated glucose regulation following vertical sleeve gastrectomy surgery to define the mechanisms underlying type 2 diabetes remission and metabolic improvement following bariatric surgery.

Dr. Pier Nuzzo Wins Best Poster Award at ESMO-TAT for Groundbreaking Work in Prostate Cancer Research. We are proud to recognize Dr. Pier Vitale Nuzzo, Curvia faculty, for receiving the Best Poster Award at the 2024 ESMO Targeted Anticancer Therapies (TAT) Congress. His winning abstract highlights a clinical trial targeting lipid metabolism using FASN inhibitors in metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC)—a bold step forward in precision oncology.
